NIAGARA FALLS, New York -Â Despite two wins by both
Jane Bockman and
Cloe Clements, the Marist women's tennis team fell to Niagara 4-3 in their MAAC opener, which was played Saturday evening at the Village Glen Tennis Club in Williamsville, New York.

" It was a very tough battle," said Director of Tennis
Gary Sussman.  " For the first time this seaon we were able to win the doubles point, but Niagara was too consistent throughout their rotation and we just fell short. Congrats to both Jane and Cloe who won at first doubles while also notching wins at first and second singles respectively."
