LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey- The Marist men's swim and dive team earned its second-straight MAAC win against Rider, Saturday afternoon.
Oscar Bjering led the Red Foxes with two wins enroute to a 161-129 win.
The Red Foxes improved to 2-0 on the season, and 2-0 in MAAC meets during the early 2024-25 season.
- "Today was a great day on both sides, top to bottom, it was a true team effort."
- The women took momentum early and that confidence carried them throughout the day. We were on the right side of a lot of close races which speaks to their commitment to the small details that are needed to be successful at MAACs. We'll look to keep it rolling with a very deep Fairfield team coming to McCann."
- "I don't know the last time the men were able to leave with a win down at Rider, but it's been a while (2003-04 season). It was a tale of two halves, and we were able to show our depth to outlast a really talented Rider team. We know we need to get started earlier to have chances in close meets on the horizon."
