POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist swim and dive teams are set for their first home dual meet at the McCann Natatorium, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes compete against the Fairfield Stags and look to improve to 3-0 in MAAC play.
The meet is slated for 1 p.m. first swim at the McCann Natatorium.
- The Red Foxes triumphed in their second-straight MAAC win against Rider, 178-109.
- Anna Hoskovec dominated in the distance swim of the 1000-yard freestyle in the Red Foxes win. Hoskovec swam to a first-place finish with a time of 10:37.79 in the distance swim.
- Maddie Healey swam her way to a first-place finish in 200-yard freestyle for the Red Foxes. Healey finished with a time of 1:57.87 enroute to her win.
- April Avila earned a win in the 100-yard breaststroke, her second win the 100-yard breaststroke. Avila swam to a time of 1:04.82 in the first-place finish.
- Sabrina Conrad dominated in the 200-yard butterfly in the Red Foxes win. Conrad swam to a time of 2:12.11, which placed her first in the swim.
- Eydis Kolbeinsdottir continued her impressive season for the Red Foxes in the 50-yard freestyle. Kolbeinsdottir placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.29.
- Rian Dickman placed first in the 100-yard freestyle in the Red Foxes win. Dickman swam her way to a first-place finish with a time of 54.98.
- Milena Judge swam her way to a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke for the Red Foxes. Judge finished with a time of 2:09.80 in the win.
- The Red Foxes defeated the Broncs for a second-straight MAAC win, 161-129 on Oct. 26.
- Oscar Bjering swam his way to two first-place finishes against the Broncs.
- Bjering started his dominant meet in the fourth event of the meet, the 1000-yard freestyle. Bjering dominated in the 1000-yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 9:52.63, finishing ahead of teammate Kevin McNamara who finished second with a time of 10:03.77.
- Bjering finished his two-win meet in the 500-yard freestyle for the Red Foxes. Bjering swam his way to a first-place finish with a time of 4:47.43.
- Kellen Fletcher also posted a dominant meet with two-first place finishes in the win.
- Fletcher swam his way to a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:55.88.
- Fletcher also recorded a second first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly. Fletcher finished in first with a time of 50.59 in the win.
- James Conable earned three wins for the Red Foxes in their win against Rider.
- James Conable earned consecutive wins in the 200-yard freestyle in the Red Foxes win. Conable swam to a time of 1:41.66, which placed first in the win against Rider.
- Conable swam to a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:51.50.
- Conable finished his dominant meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard IM. Conable swam to a time of 1:53.44 in the win.
- Adrian Bankowski placed first in the 100-yard freestyle for the Red Foxes, his first win of the 2024-25 season. Bankowski finished with a time of 46.56 enroute to the win.
- The men's A relay team placed first in the 400-yard freestyle relay in the win. The team consisting of Adrian Bankowski, Tim Engel, Dane Dillenback, and Mason DeLisio swam to a time of 3:06.55.
- The Stags men's team enters the meet at 2-1 overall on the 2024-25 season. The meet against the Red Foxes will be the first MAAC meet of the season for the Stags.
- Last season, the Stags finished fourth overall at the 2024 MAAC Championships.
- The Stags women's team enters the meet also at 2-1 overall on the season. The Stags defeated Providence (212-85) and Monmouth (200.5-89.5), earning two-straight wins.
- Last season, the Stags finished second overall at the 2024 MAAC Championships.
- The men's team competes against NJIT in a solo meet on Nov. 8 with first swim at 5 p.m.
- The Red Foxes continue their homestand against Colgate at the McCann Natatorium in a dual meet.
- The meet is slated for Nov. 9 with first swim at 3 p.m.
