POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist swim and dive program is slated for its second home dual meet of the season, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes compete against Colgate at the McCann Natatorium and look to continue their successful start to the 2024-25 season.
The women's team holds a 2-2 overall record and a 2-1 record in MAAC meets. The men's team holds a 4-0 record and 3-0 in MAAC meets.
- The Red Foxes fell in the Red Foxes second home meet of the season against Fairfield 152-148.
- Charlotte Lepis swam to a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle. Lepis finished with a first-place time of 1:55.83.
- Sabrina Conrad placed first in the 200-yard butterfly for the Red Foxes in the 11th event. Conrad swam her way to a first-place finish with a time of 2:08.69.
- Eydis Kolbeinsdottir continued her successful 2024-25 campaign with a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle. Kolbeinsdottir swam her way to a win with a time of 24.64.
- Kolbeinsdottir also swam to a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Kolbeinsdottir finished the race with a time of 53.67.
- Morgan Cassidy placed second in the three-meter dive in the meet. Cassidy posted an impressive score of 208.65, one point behind the first-place diver.
- Cassidy continued her impressive meet with a second podium finish against Fairfield. Cassidy posted an impressive score of 217.95 in the one-meter dive, enroute to a second-place finish.
- The men's team defeated NJIT for its fourth consecutive win 156.5-137.5.
- James Conable edged out a win in the third event of the evening, the 200-yard freestyle. Conable swam his way to a first-place finish with a time of 1:38.33.
- Conable continued his dominant meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke. Conable placed first in the race with a time of 1:48.12.
- Conable finished his dominant outing with a win in the 200-yard IM. The time of 1:48.88 broke the NJIT pool record enroute to Conable's third win of the meet.
- Caden Hardy placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Red Foxes, swimming his way to a time of 56.51. Teammate Dylan Magda placed in second, right behind Hardy, with a time of 57.69.
- Kellen Fletcher swam his way to a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Fletcher finished the race with a time of 1:51.15.
- Fletcher also placed first in the 100-yard butterfly for the Red Foxes. Fletcher swam his way to the win with a time of 48.85.
- Adrian Bankowski led the Red Foxes with a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Bankowski finished with a time of 45.70, ahead of teammate Tim Engel who finished second with a time of 46.80.
- Mason DeLisio earned another win in consecutive meets in the 50-yard freestyle. DeLisio swam his way to a first-place finish with a time of 20.96.
- The Raiders men's team enters the meet at 1-3 overall and 0-2 in Patriot League play.
- The Raiders fell to Loyola on Nov. 2, 237-47.
- The Raiders fell to Lehigh on Nov. 2, 212-64.
- Last season, the Raiders placed ninth overall out of 10 teams at the Patriot League Championships.
- The Red Foxes are undefeated against the Raiders in all-time meetings (4-0).
- The Raiders women's team enters the meet at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in Patriot League play.
- Most recently the Raiders fell to Loyola (201-98) and Lehigh (185-114), dropping their past two meets.
- The Raiders placed seventh overall at the Patriot League Championships during the 2023-24 season.
- The Red Foxes women's team hold a 3-1 overall record against the Raiders in all-time meetings.
- The Red Foxes participate in the Patriot Invitational, their final meet of the 2024 year.
