Baseball Drops Second Game at Southern Miss

Red Foxes Rally for Three in the Ninth

HATTIESBURG, Mississippi – The Marist baseball team dropped its second game of its series at Southern Mississippi on Saturday night by a score of 10-5.

  • Marist scored in the top of the first when Ethan Conrad's RBI triple plated Bayram Hot.
  • Southern Miss took the lead with three runs in the first, and added one in the fourth.
  • Colin Mackle's homer in the top of the fifth cut Marist's deficit to 4-2.
