ALBANY, New York- The Marist baseball team dropped its midweek game against UAlbany, Tuesday afternoon. The Red Foxes fell 16-5 in seven innings against the Great Danes, moving to 15-28 on the 2024 season. 
 

• In the top-half of the first inning, Ethan Conrad led off with a single. 

• Lewis Rodriguez followed with a second consecutive single, which put the Red Foxes in scoring position. 

• With one out in the inning, Bayram Hot brought home Conrad on a sacrifice fly. 

• The Red Foxes led 1-0 after the top-half of the inning. 

• In the bottom-half of the first inning, UAlbany scored a run on a hit. 

• The Red Foxes and Great Danes were tied 1-1 through the first inning. 

• In the bottom-half of the second inning, UAlbany plated one run on a wild pitch. 

• The Red Foxes trailed 2-1 after two innings of play. 

• In the top-half of the third inning, Brady Steinert led off with a single. 

• Conrad followed with an RBI double which scored Steinert and evened the game at 2-2. 

• Rodriguez reached on an error which brought home Conrad, which gave the Red Foxes a 3-2 lead against UAlbany. 

• Johnny Decker added to the Red Foxes lead with an RBI single which scored Rodriguez. 

• The Red Foxes led 4-2 after the top-half of the inning. 

• With one out in the inning, Ethan Conrad reached base on a single. 

• Lewis Rodriguez followed Conrad with an RBI double, which brought home Conrad. 

• A double play limited extra scoring from the Red Foxes. 

• The Red Foxes led 5-4 after the top-half of the fourth. 

• UAlbany regained the lead in the bottom-half of the fourth inning with four runs. 

• The Red Foxes trailed 8-5 after four innings of play. 

• The Red Foxes were held scoreless in the fifth inning. 

• In the bottom-half of the fifth, UAlbany plated five runs on three hits. 

• The Red Foxes trailed 13-5 after five innings of play. 

• In the bottom-half of sixth inning, UAlbany added three runs to its lead. 

• The Red Foxes fell in seven innings against UAlbany 16-5. 

• The Red Foxes scored five runs on seven hits in the game. 

• Ethan Conrad went 3-3 including a double and an RBI in the game. 

• Lewis Rodriguez went 2-4 in the game. 

• The Great Danes scored 16 runs on 10 hits in the game. 

• UAlbany committed six errors in the game. 
   

• The Red Foxes host MAAC foe Fairfield for the final Red Foxes home series of the 2024 season.
