POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist baseball team swept a non conference doubleheader against UAlbany, Tuesday afternoon at home. The Red Foxes defeated the Great Danes in the first game 9-5 and in the second 7-6.

• In the top-half of the first inning, UAlbany took an early 1-0 lead against the Red Foxes.
  • With the bases loaded Lance Koenig threw a strikeout to get out of the jam.
• In the bottom of the first inning, Ethan Conrad led off with a triple to center field.
• Kai Cottle entered the game to pitch for Marist in the top-half of the second inning.
  • The Great Danes extended the lead to 2-0 on a wild pitch.
  • UAlbany scored two more runs in the second inning to make it 4-0.
• Bayram Hot reached home on a wild pitch to cut the lead to 4-1 in the bottom of the second inning.
