Newark, New Jersey – Marist men's cross country completed its fourth meet of the 2025 season, the Metropolitan Championships, on Saturday. The event took place in Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ.
The men's team brought home third place with a total of 69 points and a day full of PR's.
The sophomores led the charge at the Metropolitan Championships with Isaac Gross coming in first for Marist and fourth overall, with a PR of 24:45.00.
Sanjith Nomula (13th) and
Justin Schwartz (14th) followed next for the Red Fox pack with PRs of 25:28.00 and 25:31.00.
Davis Haines (18th) and
Kevin Cannon (20th) were the fourth and fifth sophomores of the day to bring in PRs with times of 25:40.00 and 25:43.00.
Pierce Francis (25th) put the juniors on the mark with his PR of 25:47.00.
Freshman Kaleb Stoeckmann (26th) earned himself a PR with a finish of 25:49.00.
