POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University Athletics Department announced the formation of its new Hall of Fame to celebrate decades of athletic excellence and accomplishments by Marist student-athletes, teams, coaches, and supporters.
Â
Marist is proud of its longstanding excellence in athletics. The Red Foxes are the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's all-time leader in conference championships and Commissioner's Cups. Student-athletes have excelled in the classroom, reached the highest levels of their sports, and they have continued to bring pride and distinction to Marist long after their time on campus. The first induction class is scheduled for the Fall of 2026, and will be honored as part of the University's Homecoming & Reunion Weekend festivities.
Â
"The establishment of our Hall of Fame is the perfect way to showcase the long, celebrated history of outstanding athletics programs that have brought great distinction to Marist," Director of Athletics Tim Murray said. "We are fortunate to have an extensive number of impressive individuals and teams that have made Red Fox nation proud during their time at Marist and beyond, and I'm excited to have this new way to honor the tradition of excellence they helped establish."
