WAPPINGERS FALLS, New York- The Marist baseball team earned its first series sweep of the 2025 season, Sunday afternoon. The Red Foxes dominated in all facets of the game, leading to a 15-1 win against Niagara in the series finale.
Scott Esposito hit a grand slam in the fifth inning which gave the Red Foxes a commanding 10-1 lead.
Brady Steinert delivered a perfect day at the plate in the win, going 4-4 with two RBIs.
Chris Ubner earned his first win on the season for the Red Foxes. Ubner pitched four hitless innings in the win, striking out six batters in 14 batters faced.
The Red Foxes improved to 6-11 overall and 4-2 in MAAC play.
