ALBANY, New York- The Marist baseball team dominated in all facets in their midweek match against UAlbany, Tuesday afternoon. The Red Foxes offense tallied 16 hits enroute to a 14-2 mercy-rule win against the Great Danes.
The Red Foxes improved to 17-22 overall with the win.
Lewis Rodriguez and
Nathan Lincoln led the Red Foxes with three RBIs apiece in the win.
Andrew Speranza pitched three perfect innings for the Red Foxes, striking out three batters. Speranza earned the win for the Red Foxes.
- The Red Foxes took an early lead with one run on one hit in the top-half of the first inning.
- The Red Foxes continued to add to their lead with a run on two hits in the second inning.
- Nathan Lincoln walked to begin the second inning.
- Luke Monico followed with a single, which put Red Foxes in scoring position.
