SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York - Marist Women's Rowing traveled to Saratoga, NY this past weekend to compete at the Head of the Fish Regatta. It was a perfect fall day, with only the slightest of headwinds for our Red Foxes.
Our Varsity 8+ kicked off the day at Fish Creek. The boat consisted of coxswain
Elise McCarthy,
Amelia Nelson,
Maddie Lombardi,
Sophie Forster,
Kora Eckelman,
Cali Tigar,
Anna Iannucci,
Abby Deane, and
Anna Fedders. This crew finished 7
th of 16 in a time of 11:51.564.
Next up was the 2
nd Varsity 8+ event, in which an 'A' and 'B' were entered. The 'A' boat consisted of coxswain

Lillian Iannaccone,
Caitlin Bartman,
Breanna Schwager,
Jenna Jaffe,
Elena Waldbillig,
Grace Stoner,
Sophia Warburton,
Gabrielle White. This crew finished 9
th out of 22, and 4

The 'B' boat consisted of coxswain

th out of 22, in a time of 13:26.988.
The Varsity 4+ event followed, in which four Marist boats were entered into a field of 41 crews. The 'A' boat consisted of coxswain

th out of 41, and 4

The 'B' boat consisted of coxswain

th out of 41, and 5
th among 'B' boats, in a time of 13:17.564.
The 'C' boat consisted of coxswain

Maddie Lombardi. This crew finished 16
nd out of 41, and 4
th among 'C' boats, in a time of 13:20.631.
The 'D' boat consisted of coxswain Cara Orcutt,
Sophia Warburton,
Grace Stoner,
Elena Waldbillig, and
Gabrielle White. This crew finished 22
nd out of 41, and 2
nd among 'D' boats, in a time of 13:43.581.
The final crew to race was the Frosh/Novice 8+. This crew finished 20
th in a time of 14:49.527 and consisted of coxswain Elsie McCarthy, Elise McAndrews,

Kyleigh Murray,
Sophie Johns,
Daniella Ahrberg,
Grace Faigle, and
Carley McHugh. This crew took on their first collegiate race with great energy and teamwork.
