Marist Baseball Opens The Weekend With A Win

The Red Foxes Hold Off Saint Peter's In A Close Battle

WAPPINGERS, FALLS., New York – Marist Baseball defeated Saint Peters in the series opener 5-4 on Friday afternoon behind a huge three run sixth inning.
 
Marist improves to 3-12 on the season.

  • Saint Peters struck first driving in two runs in the top of the first inning to take an early 2-0 lead.
  • The Red Foxes responded in the bottom of the third inning scoring a run and cutting the lead down to one.
