LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey – Marist Baseball defeated the Rider Broncs in game two of the series Friday afternoon by a final score of 8-3. The Red Foxes jump to 11-18 overall and 11-3 in conference play.
 

SUMMARY

• Rider opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning driving in a run with an RBI single.
• In the top of the fourth, the Red Foxes bats got hot driving in three runs to give the Red Foxes a two-run lead.
  • Nathan Lincoln drove in the tying run with an RBI double.
  • Scott Esposito put the Red Foxes ahead with an RBI single.
  • Michael Mayhugh dropped a bunt, allowing another run to score, picking up the RBI on a fielder's choice.
