POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Baseball closed out the regular season with a doubleheader, Friday afternoon against Bryant University, where they played two seven-inning games. The Red Foxes won both games of the afternoon to advance to 23-28 overall.
 

SUMMARY: GAME ONE

• Bryant scored first with one run in the top of the third to go up 1-0.
• The Red Foxes fought back in the bottom of the fourth with a run of their own to tie the game at one apiece.
  • Chris Diaz blasted a homerun to right field.
• The Bulldogs retook the lead 2-1, taking advantage of an error in the top of the fifth.
• Marist rallied in the seventh to score two runs and walk off the game in the bottom of the seventh and win 3-2.
  • Noel Rivera ripped an RBI single to tie the game.
  • Nathan Lincoln drove in the winning run with an RBI single.

• The Red Foxes extended the lead with two runs in the bottom of the third to go up 9-1.
  • Luis Cedeno brought in a run on a fielder's choice.
  • Luke Monico drove home a run with an RBI single.
• The Bulldogs scored one run in the top of the fifth and make it 9-2.
• Marist closed it out to win 9-2 in the seventh.
