WAPPINGERS FALLS, New York – Marist Baseball closed out the 2026 season after falling to Niagara 6-2 in day three of the MAAC Championships. The Red Foxes finished the regular season with a 23-28 overall record and a 17-13 conference record. In the MAAC Championships they went 2-2 making it all the way to the final four.

• After scoring another run in the bottom of the sixth, the Purple Eagles extend their lead to make it 5-2.
• Niagara scored another run in the bottom of the eighth before closing it out in the ninth to win by a final score of 6-2.

• AJ Brotz racked up two hits and two runs scored.
• Nathan Lincoln, Kyle Pollack, and Luke Monico each had one hit in the game.
• Aiden Vargas pitched 2.1 strong innings of relief with only four hits, one earned run, and two strikeouts.
