POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist University baseball has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
The award is presented to teams that earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher over the course of the academic year.
The Red Foxes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.486 during the 2025-26 academic year and recorded a program-record GPA of 3.515 during the fall semester. The team also had 19 selections to the conference All-Academic Team in 2026.
Four Red Foxes also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors:
Andrew Fierro,
Nathan Lincoln,
Noel Rivera, and
Tyler Hartley.
Marist baseball has received this award in all four seasons under head coach
Lance Ratchford.
