POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's cross country team earned the third slot in the Metro preseason poll.

The Red Foxes' women's cross country program is coming off a stellar 2025 campaign. The team finished fourth, its best conference championship finish since 2022.

The Red Foxes are looking to repeat their success as they are gearing up for the 2026 season. The team reported back to campus last week, and their season openers will take place on Friday, Sept. 4 at Vassar Farm in Poughkeepsie.
