- Took 13th place in the 1650-yard free at the ECAC Championships.
- Finished in 12th place in the 500-yard free at the MAAC Championships.
- Finished in 4th place in the 1650-yard free in the H20unds Invitational.
- Had an excellent performance in the 1000-yard free against Colgate, taking 2nd place.

- Placed second in the 200-yard backstroke against Southern Connecticut
- Took third in the 1000-yard freestyle vs. Rider
- Swam the 1650-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly at both MAAC and ECAC Championships, placing as high as eighth in the 1650 freestyle
- Placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle at Southern Connecticut
- Came in third in the 200-yard backstroke at Binghamton
- Part of the first place 800 freestyle-relay at the H20unds invitational
Prior to Marist: Chan was a four-year varsity athlete, senior team captain and two time MVP of her district team. A two-time New York State qualifier and finalist in the 500-yard freestyle, she was also awarded All-County honors in the same event. At the 2017 Metropolitan Age Group Challenge she placed second overall
and posted six new personal best times. She swam competitively with the Long Island Aquatic Club for 11 years.
Academically, Chan was a member of the National, Science, and Math Honor Societies in addition to the National Society of High School Scholars. She was enrolled in all AP/honor classes and was recognized as an AP Scholar. Prior to graduation she received the Princeton Review Award, which recognizes academic excellence.
