Originally from Sweeden, qualified for the 2018 Swedish Nationals in the 50-, 100- and 200- backstroke. Stureborg earned a varsity letter all four years of high school, competing at three different schools. At Jakarta Intercultural School, she set three school records, was named a team captain and took first in the 100-yard backstroke in the 2017 IASAS qualifier. At Skyline High School, helped lead team to a first place 400-freestyle relay finish at State Championships.
