CoSIDA/Capital One Third Team Academic All-American, MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Swimmer of the Week (1/31)... In her final MAAC Championship, Fountain turned in a trio of top three finishes, including her first-ever individual title in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:55.65... Earned third place finishes in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events at 51.72 and 1:51.42, respectively... In relay action, she finished first in the 400- (3:26.67) and 800-yard (7:33.34) freestyle and 400-yard medley (3:48.42) relay teams.
At the ECAC Championships, competed in two championship and one consolation final. Her fourth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.03) was followed by a seventh place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (52.26) and a ninth place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (4:59.47)... Participated on two title-winning relays: the 800-yard freestyle (7:31.51) and 400-yard medley (3:49.56)... Also swam on the fourth place 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:36.38).
2010-11: MAAC Record-Holder: 800-yd. Freestyle Relay... MAAC Champion: 200-, 400- and 800-Yard Freestyle Relay... MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Swimmer of the Week (10/19) ... Finished third in her first individual event at the MAAC Championships, the 500-yard freestyle, with a time of 5:01.11. Prelim time of 4:59.75 ranks third all-time at Marist... Swam in the 200-yard freestyle and finished third with a time of 1:52.36... Ranks third all-time in the Marist record book with a prelim time of 1:51.84... In the 100-yard freestyle, swam to a seventh place finish with a time of 53.05 seconds... Member of three first place relay teams: the 200-yard freestyle relay team, who sits atop the Marist record books with a time of 1:35.39, the 400-yard freestyle relay, who set the Marist record with a 3:28.39 time, and the MAAC and Marist record-holding 800-yard freestyle relay team, who finished with a time of 7:31.19... Also a member of the second place 400-yard medley relay squad.
Swam to a 12th place finish in the 500-yard freestyle at the ECAC Championship with a time of 5:01.89... Finished 15th in the 200-yard freestyle race with a 1:55.19 mark... Participated in the 100-yard freestyle and finished with a time of 54.09... Member of the second place finishing 800-yard freestyle relay as well as the third place 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay teams... Also swam on the sixth place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay team.
2009-10: MAAC Champion: 200- and 800-Yard Freestyle Relay and 400-Yard Medley Relay, MAAC All-Academic Team... During the MAAC Championship, Fountain raced on the 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished first in 1:35.66... Also earned first with the 800-yard freestyle relay team in a time of 7:36.05... Raced as a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished first overall with a time of 3:50.43... Also raced on the 400-yard. freestyle team that took second in 3:30.35... Earned second in the 200-yard freestyle event in 1:52.25... Took fifth in the final day of competition with a time of 52.51 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle... Finished the 50-yard freestyle in sixth place (24.33 seconds).
Was also a consistent swimmer for the Red Foxes at the ECAC Championships... Raced on the 400-yard medley relay team that took second place in a time of 3:51.41 and the 200-yard freestyle team that earned second place (1:36.82)... Earned third as a member of the 800-yard freestyle team that finished in 7:36.72... Raced to a 3:29.90 finish as a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that placed fourth... Took eighth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:08.67... Raced to a 10th place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.
2008-09: Was Marist's top finisher in all of her individual events at the 2009 MAAC Championship... Came in sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.46 seconds... Was third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.76... Finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.82 seconds... Came in third place as a member of the 400-yard medley relay, the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay, as well as a second place finish as the anchor of the 800-yard freestyle relay squad... Came in 14th place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.54 seconds at the ECAC Championships.
