2011-12: Competed in three finals in the 2012 MAAC Championships, earning a sixth place finish in the 200-yd IM at 2:09.21. Swam in consolation finals of the 400-yd IM (10th-4:37.91) and the 1650-yd freestyle (13th-17:57.39) ... At the ECAC Championships, competed in both the 200- and 400-yd IM events. Taking an eighth place finish in the 400-yd race at 4:40.77 and 11th in the 200-yd discipline at 2:08.89.

2010-11: At the MAAC Championships, finished in seventh place in the 400-yd individual medley with a time of 4:41.51 ... Swam to an eighth place finish in the 1000-yd freestyle with a time of 10:36.81 ... Finished the 1650-yd freestyle in a time of 17:56.08, good for ninth place overall. Made first career A-Final at the ECAC Championships in the 400-yd. IM with the fifth fastest time in school history (4:35.09) in the prelims and earned an eighth place finish in finals with a time of 4:37.21 ... Took 14th place in the 200-yd IM with a time of 2:11.02 ... Swam the 1650-yd freestyle in a time of 17:48.33, good for 14th place

2009-10: At the MAAC Championships, Gardner finished fifth with a time of 17:38.25 in the 1,650 freestyle event ... Earned eighth in the 500-yd. freestyle in a time of 5:14.22 ... Took eighth in the 1000-yd. freestyle with a 10:36.67 finish and also finished eighth in the 1,650-yd. freestyle in a time of 17:43.07.

2008-09: Finished fifth in the 1,650-yd. freestyle with a time of 17:38.87 ... Notched eighth place finishes in both the 500-yd. freestyle (5:13.91) and the 1,000-yd. freestyle (10:37.25).
