2011-12:  Earned a 12th place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:08.95... Swam to a 15th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at 59.32 seconds... Missed qualifying for the 200-yard IM Consolation Final by .76 seconds with a time of 1:59.34... In relay action, competed with the fourth place 200-yard medley (1:34.50) and fifth place finishing 400-yard medley (3:26.70) squads.

At the ECAC Championships, completed the 100-yard breaststroke in 59.53 seconds, the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:11.90 and the 200-yard IM in 2:00.32... Swam on the seventh place finishing 400-yard medley (3:26.68) and eighth place 200-yard medley (1:34.98) relay teams.

Prior to Marist: Uy came to Marist from Kamehameha-Kapalama High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a member of the varsity swim team he was named to the 2011 Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) Swimming All Star First Team for the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard freestyle relay. As a junior he earned two spots on the Second Team for the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard medley relay. Uy turned in four top-six performances at the 2011 Hawaii State Championships. Individually, he swam to a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke and a fifth place finish in the 200-yard IM. In relays his teams finished in second in the 200-yard freestyle and sixth in the 400-yard freestyle. A member of the Kamehameha Swimming Club, Uy qualified for the 2011 Speedo Sectionals in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, 200- and 400-yard IM, and 100-yard backstroke.
