Marist Record Book: 200-Yard Breaststroke (2:02.64), 200-Yard Medley Relay (1:32.12)

2014-15: MAAC Swimmer of the Week (1/14), MAAC All-Academic Team... Competed in three events at his final MAAC Championships: 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM... Was also a member of the second place 400-yard medley relay team (3:22.99)... Swam in six events at the ECAC Championships: 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM... Placed first in the 100- (1:01.79) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.15) vs. Southern Connecticut State. 

2013-14: CSCAA Individual Scholar All-Americans Honorable Mention... Finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:03.76) and sixth in the 100-yard event (57.64 seconds) at the MAAC Championships while also competing in the preliminaries of the 200-yard IM... Placed ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.64) and 10th in the 100-yard event (57.52 seconds) at the ECAC Championships... Competed in the 200-yard IM at the ECAC Championships... Placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke vs. Seton Hall.

2012-2013: At the MAAC Championships, was part of the relay team that finished fifth... Finished 30th in the ECAC preliminary round of the 200-yard IM… Finished 21st in the ECAC 200-yard breaststroke preliminaries… At the MAAC championships, finished 13th in the 200-yard breaststroke competition.  

Prior to Marist: Vandermolen competed as a freshman at the University of Delaware during the 2011-12 season. He was a four-year letterwinner at Christian Brothers Academy and a two-time New Jersey state champion, earning the honor his junior and senior years. Vandermolen holds the 200-yard freestyle record at Christian Brothers Academy and his 200-yard freestyle relay team at CBA broke the the conference's all-time record.

Personal: Son of Tony and Diane Vandermolen... Has two brothers, Stephan and Tyler.
