Biography
2013-14: All-MAAC First Team (Second Doubles), MAAC All-Academic Team – Nagelstad recorded a 6-4 mark in singles play and a 12-9 record in doubles action, mostly at second doubles. Nagelstad and primary doubles partner Dalen Klassen recorded an 11-9 record together. Nagelstad won at fourth singles in Marist’s first MAAC match of the year against Siena.
2012-13: All-MAAC Second Team (Second Doubles) ... Went 9-10 in singles and 11-15 in doubles as a freshman… Finished the season on a five match winning streak in singles play and was victorious out of the six slot in the MAAC Tournament… Posted a 1-1 record while during regular season play out of the one slot… Split time in doubles playing with both Fredrik Bjerke and Will Reznek… Finished 8-7 with Bjerke and 3-7 with Reznek.
Prior to Marist: Nagelstad transferred to Marist following one year at the University of Tennessee while maintaining all four years of eligibility... He was the #1 ranked player in the country of Norway in his junior year of high school... His club team, Stabekk Tennis Club, won the Norwegian championship while Nagelstad won both the singles and doubles championships... He was also a member of the varsity soccer team for three years.
