2014-15: Placed seventh in the 100-yard backstroke at the ECAC Championships with the fifth fastest time in program history (51.33 seconds)... Placed ninth in the 50-yard backstroke and also competed in the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle at his first ECAC Championship... Placed fourth in the 100- (51.54 seconds) and 200- (1:51.83) yard backstroke at the MAAC Championships and also competed in the 100-yard butterfly... Came in second in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke vs. Southern Connecticut State.

Prior to Marist: After being named captain at AISG, Wahl comes to Marist with a successful background. He is the AISG record holder in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle, and the 4x50-yard medley relay. Wahl is also the Jesuit High School record holder in the 4x100-yard freestyle relay. In 2014 he was named the Jesuit High School Most Valuable Player.
