Biography
2016: Scored five goals and assisted on seven goals. Registered two drawn kickouts and eight steals.
2015: Appeared in 15 games in her inaugural season with the Red Foxes… Ovalle finished the season with 13 points, racking up four goals and nine assists… Her .375 shooting percentage was good enough to finish the season in ninth place team wise… Ovalle put 11 shots on net and drew five ejections… Defensively, she finished the season with four steals and two field blocks… She had three multi-point games and one multi-assist game… Ovalle recorded her first career goal against Sonoma State on Feb. 8… On March 14, Ovalle notched a career-high six points in a win over Caltech (1 goal, 5 assists).
Prior to Marist: Ovalle will become a Red Fox after claiming the 2014 Illinois State Championships. She was a three-year varsity starter for Fenwick High School. Ovalle was made a 2013 First Team All-Section selection, as well as a 2013 Second Team All-State honoree.
