2016-17: MAAC All-Academic Team... Competed in two events in the ECAC Championships, including the 200-yard freestyle... Competed in three events in the MAAC Championships... Set a personal best in the 100-yard butterfly (53.88 seconds) at the MAAC Championships.

2015-16: Placed fourth in the 100- (56.37 seconds) and 200-yard (2:05.17) butterfly vs. Fairfield.

Prior to Marist: Lynch was a four-year swimmer for Seton Hall Prep and a club swimmer for the Bridgewater Tide. He was a captain his senior year for Seton Hall Prep, helping them capture its 18th consecutive county championship by placing fourth in the 100-yard butterfly. He also helped make the team the fastest in school history. Beyond sports, he was the president of the Wounded Warrior Project Club at Seton Hall Prep, a member of the school band, a four year honor-roll student and a volunteer firefighter with the Far-Hills Bedminster Fire Department.
