Accolades: Won 200 Free at MAAC Championships (1:39.03).
- Set a season best in the 100 Back (51.48) in the prelims of the MAAC Championships on the way to an eighth place finish
- Placed eighth in the 100 Free at the MAAC Championships with a season best time of 46.58
- Won the 200 Free against Rider
- Took first in the 100 Back against Fairfield
- Won the 200 Back against Southern Connecticut
- Competed in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle at MAACÂ championships, taking silver in the 200 and sixth in the 100 and 500 freestyle
- Swam the swam events at ECACÂ Championships
- Picked up a first place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:41.03
- Anchored the 400 freestyle relay that took first at Boston College
- Placed first in the 100 Backstroke at Southern Connecticut
- Part of the 400-Yard Freestyle team that took first at Canisius to lead to a duel meet victory

- Competed in three events at the ECAC Championships, including the 200- and 500- yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke
- Competed in three events at the MAAC Championships: the 100- , 200- , and 500-yard freestyle, and finished with gold in the 500-yard freestyle (4:27.64)
- Also competed on various relay teams, including the 400-yard medley relay that set a new school record of 3:20.91 at the MAACÂ Championships
- Won the 100- (54.37 seconds) and 200-yard (1:58.72) backstroke and was on the second place 200-yard medley relay team vs. Fairfield
- Placed second in the 200-yard freestyle at the H2ounds Invitational and won the event vs. Boston College in a time of 1:43.64
- Competed in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.61) and 100- (51.62 seconds) and 200-yard backstroke (1:52.08) at the MAAC Championships
- Was also a member of the 200- (3rd; 1:23.70), 400- (2nd; 3:03.51), and 800-yard freestyle (2nd; 6:41.14) relay teams that finished in the top three
- Came in sixth place in the 100-meter freestyle (53.16 seconds) at the ECAC Long Course Invitational while trying to qualify for Portugal
- Placed ninth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.71) and also competed in the 100-yard event and 200-yard backstroke at the ECAC Championships.
Prior to Marist:Â A versatile swimmer, Madeira was a junior national qualifier and medalist in the 4x100-yard freestyle relay. He placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle and ninth in the 100-yard backstroke at the state championships his senior year. In the classroom he maintained an unweighted GPA above 3.0 and a weighted GPA above 4.0 while taking AP and honors courses.
