MAAC Championship Recap
Marist won its first MAAC Women’s Cross Country Championship in 1998. The team’s top four runners combined for a finish total of 39 points. The team beat Manhattan by nine and Iona by 32 points. In fourth place there was a tie between Loyola and Rider followed by Canisius, Fairfield, St. Peter’s, Niagara, and Siena. Marist’s Lisa Grudzinski won the women’s individual title with an overall time of 18:47.51.
