MAAC Championship Recap Marist College won the 1998 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rowing Championship in definitive fashion by 58 points over runner up Manhattan. They also crushed the remainder of the teams from Loyola, Fairfield, Canisius, and Iona by 30 or more points each. This was the red foxes second consecutive MAAC rowing title since joining the conference.
