Eric Pelletier joined the Marist baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2015.
Pelletier serves the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. Along with recruiting, he develops the offense and defense of position players, while organizing and implementing philosophy and technique execution.
In his first season with the Red Foxes, Pelletier coached the team's offense which finished with a .275 batting average, 468 hits, 86 doubles, 12 triples, 23 home runs, 280 runs scored, 246 RBI, 161 walks, a .380 slugging percentage and a .350 on base percentage.Â
Since then, the program has seen improvements across the board in offensive statistics. The program has seen back-to-back winning seasons these past two years, with the 2017 campaign resulting in a MAAC Championship and NCAA Championship appearance.

Before Marist, he spent the previous two seasons at UMass Lowell, which followed stints at Southern New Hampshire and Keystone. At UMass Lowell, he recruited and coached the hitters and infielders. The team earned third- and second-place finishes in the America East in its first two years of playing Division I. Under Pelletier's guidance, shortstop Danny Mendick was drafted in the 22nd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Chicago White Sox.
In 2012, Pelletier helped Southern New Hampshire reach the Division II World Series. There, he recruited and worked with the hitters and infielders, and led the coordination of the strength program. He also helped Keystone reach the Division III World Series.
Pelletier also has experience in summer collegiate leagues. In 2012, he worked with the hitters and infielders as an assistant coach for the YD Red Sox in the prestigious Cape Cod League. He was also was an assistant coach for the North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League from 2010-11. Pelletier worke with the team's hitters and coached third base, and helped the Navigators win the 2011 NECBL championships.
Pelletier played collegiately for four years at Southern New Hampshire. In 2010, he served as team captain and was named the team's Most Valuable Player. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
