- Coxswain of the Second Varsity 8 crew that finished 20th in the nation at the IRA Championships
- Rowed in the Second and Third Varsity 8 crews in the scrimmage at Colgate on May 1st
- Coxswain of the Collegiate 4 D boat that was 17th at the Navy Day Regatta
- Coxswain of the Collegiate 4 C boat was took third place and the Third Varsity 8 crew that was fourth, and first among 3V8s, at the Head of the Fish
- Coxswain of the Collegiate 4 D boat that was 17th at the Navy Day Regatta
- Johnson was the lone coxswain in the 2019-20 recruiting class
- Rowed for the University of Washington in the fall of 2018 before deciding to come closer to home
- Rowed for the crew team at Stonington High School
