Biography
2013-14: Second Varsity Eight Boat of the Week (4/16, 4/23)...He took third place with the Second Varsity Eight Boat “A” at the Knecht Cup on April 12. The crew finished their heat in first place, and went on to finish in the Grand Finals with a time of 6:11.98, placing ahead of Bucknell, Delaware Lwt, and Trinity. As the Red Foxes retained the President’s Cup this season, Bossalini competed with the Second Varisty Eight, Freshman Eight, and Novice Four. The Second Varsity Eight took first place with a time of 5:02.00, while the Freshman Eight defeated Army to take first place with a time of 5:10.00, and the Novice Four took first place for Marist with a time of 6:02.02. The Red Foxes claimed their 13th consecutive MAAC Championship title, as Bossalini and the Second Varsity Eight claimed a first-place finish, posting a time of 6:00.23 to edge Jacksonville by just two seconds. He was also a part of the first-place Novice Four boat that finished with a time of 7:12.40. At the New York State Championships, he and the Second Varsity Eight had a successful day in the finals, placing second with a time of 6:39.12. To close out the season, Marist placed seventh at the ECAC Championships, where Bossalini and the Second Varsity Eight placed fourth in the Grand Finals with a time of 6:08.739.
Prior to Marist: Bossalini won club nationals with the Saratoga Springs Rowing Club...He biked across New York state into canada and competed in the Canadian Henley...Bossalini was one of two captains his senior year of high school.
