Biography
- Placed 5th in the 2nd Varsity 8 at the Head of the Fish
- Placed 1st in the 2nd Varsity 8 at the President’s Cup
- Placed 2nd in the 2nd Varsity 8 at the NIRC
- Placed 2nd in the Varsity 8+ at the Fall Metro
To kick off the Spring season, he competed with the Varsity Eight at the Sacred Heart Invitational on April 7, where the crew finished third to beat both Iona and Fairfield. At the Knecht Cup on April 12, he and the Second Varsity Eight Boat “B” placed fifth with a time of 6:32.06, defeating La Salle while being .2 seconds away from qualifying for the petite final. As the Red Foxes retained the President’s Cup, Klamar competed with the Third Varstiy Eight and the Varsity Four. The Third Varsity Eight placed second for Marist with a time of 5:13.00, while the Varsity Four “A” Boat came in fourth place with a time of 6:15.00.
Klamar was a three-time letter winner...He was named team captain for the 2012-2013 season...Klamar was also named to the National honor society in high school, while graduating summa cum lade.
