Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Champion (100-Yard Freestyle), MAAC Champion (50-Yard Freestyle), MAAC Championships Silver Medalist (400-Yard Freestyle Relay), MAAC Championships Silver Medalist (200-Yard Freestyle), MAAC Championships Silver Medalist (200-Yard Medley Relay)
  • Placed First in the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle against Colgate.
  • Placed first in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, and 50-yard freestyle against Bryant.
  • Placed first in the 50-yard backstroke against Binghamton.

  • Won 100-yard free (ECAC record, first in school history to set an ECAC record); Part of the second-place 200-yard free relay team (school record) at ECAC Championships. 

  • Finished first in the 50-yard free with a 20.01 time (school record) and won 100-yard free at MAAC Championships with a school record time of 44.04.. 

  • Part of first-place 200-yard medley relay team and 400-yard free relay team against Binghamton.

  • Won 50-yard free and 100-yard free; Part of the 400-yard free relay team that took first against Rider. 

  • Won 50-yard free; Part of the 400-yard free relay team that took first at Fordham 

  • Won 50-yard free and 100-yard free against Canisius.

2020-21 Season
Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team
  • Season canceled due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019-20 Season
  • Set a program record in the 50-yard back, finishing with a time of 22.70, the first sub-23 second time in the event in school history.
  • Split fastest 50-yard free time in school history with a time of 19.61, the first sub-20 second time in school history. 
  • Part of the 400-yard medley relay team that set a program record with a time of 3.19.49. 
  • Took 3rd in the 100-meter free and placed 7th in the 50-meter free at the USNA LC Invite.
  • Finished 4th in the 50-yard free, 4th in the 100-yard free, and 7th in the 100-yard back at the ECAC Championships.
  • Won the silver medal in the 100-yard free, and won the bronze medal in the 50-yard free at the MAAC Championships. Also came in 7th in the 100-yard back. 
  • Part of the 400-yard free relay team that came in 2nd at the MAAC Championships. 
  • Finished 4th in the 50-yard and 100-yard free at the H20unds Invitational.
  • Part of the 200-yard medley relay team that won first place against SCSU, Colgate, and Fairfield.. 
  • Part of the 400-yard medley relay team that took first place against Binghamton, Fordham, and Rider.
  • Won both the 50-yard free and 100-yard free against Bryant, Fairfield, Fordham, and Canisius, and Binghamton. Also won the 100-yard free against SCSU.
 
General
Sallam is a member of the Junior Egyption National Team as well as the Al Ahly Sporting Club. He is also a member of the Egyptian National Volleyball team, where he plays outside hitter as well as right side hitter. Regionally, he placed first in the 50-meter backstroke, butterfly, and freestyle, as well as the 100-meter freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. Nationally, he placed first in the 50-meter backstroke, and managed to place 2nd in six other competitions.
