Abigail String joined Marist as an assistant coach for Men's and women's swimming & diving in August of 2023.
String most recently served as an assistant coach at the University of Miami. Â In Coral Gables, String assisted the head coach in practice, meets, and travel necessities.
String graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Civil Engineering. While at FAU, String competed on the swim and dive team. String competed all four years at FAU, earning awards in the process. String set the school record in the 100-yard backstroke, earned C-USA All Third Team, and C-USA All-Academic Team in 2020.
In 2018, String was selected as CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention at Florida Atlantic. String earned the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll all four years at FAU.
