2012-2013: MAAC All-Academic Team… Finished 14th in the 200 yard butterfly “B” finals at ECAC’s… Finished 10^th in the “B” final of the 200 yard butterfly in the MAAC championships.

2011-12: Participated in three individual events in his first season with the Red Foxes at the MAAC Championships ... An eighth place finish in the 200-yd butterfly at 1:56.68 highlighted his performances ... Nearly qualified for the 100-yd butterfly Consolation Finals, as he missed by .23 seconds at 53.43 ... Swam the 200-yd freestyle at 1:47.82 ... At the ECAC Championships, competed in the same three events registering times of 53.42 (100-fly), 1:46.82 (200-free) and 1:57.38 in the 200-yd butterfly, which was good for 15th place.

Prior to Marist: A junior college transfer ... Following two years of action with the Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs in 2009 and 2010 ... 2010 team captain ... Gaynor was the 2010 Big 8 Conference champion in the 200-yd. butterfly ... His conference title helped earn him All American recognition in the 200-yd. fly, as well as being a member of the 800-yd. freestyle relay team ... In 2010, received the team's Commitment to Excellence Award.
