2020-21 Season
Accolades: Marist Male Sportsperson of the Year Honoree
  • Season canceled due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019-20 Junior Year
  • Set a school record in the 200-yard breast, posting a time of 2:02.59.
  • Placed 6th in the 400-yard IM at the ECAC Championships.
  • Came in 2nd in the 400-yard IM and 5th in the 200-yard Breast at the MAAC Championships.
  • Won the 400-yard IM at the H20unds Invitational. Also came in 2nd in the 200-yard breast and 3rd in the 200-yard IM in the meet. 
  • Finished first in the 100-yard and 200-yard breast against Bryant. 
  • Won both the 200-yard breast and 200-yard IM against Fairfield, Canisius, and Fordham. 
  • Part of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed first against SCSU. Also won the 200-yard breast in the meet. 
  • Part of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished first against Binghamton and Fordham. 
 
2018-19 Sophomore Year
  • Competed in the 50 Free, 200 Breaststroke, 200 IM, and 400 IM at ECAC Championships, placing fourth in the 400 IM and 12th in the breaststroke
  • Competed in the 200 Breaststroke, 200 IM, and 400 IM at MAAC Championships, placing fourth in both the breaststroke and the 400 IM
  • Finished second in both the 200 Breaststroke and the 400 IM at the H2ounds Invitational
  • Won the 200 Breaststroke 5 times this season
 
2017-18 Freshman Year
  • Swam the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 Breaststroke at MAAC Championships placing fifth in the 400 IM and sixth in the breaststroke
  • Won the 200 breaststroke B-Final to place ninth at ECAC Championships, also swam the 200 IM and 400 IM...finished second in the 200 IM against Bryant
  • Came in second in the 400 IM and third in the 200 IM at the H2ounds Invitational
 
General
Prior to Marist: Klarsfeld made the cut in the 200-yard individual medley at Junior Nationals and raced to bonus cut times in the in the 400-yard individual medley and 200-yard breaststroke. He has participated in ocean swimming events, including the Alcatraz Challenge, every year since he was 9 years old. He was MVP of his high school swim team for four straight years and graduated with high honors.
