Biography
- Finished in third place in the 1650-yard free at the ECAC Championships. Also came in 8th in the 500-yard free in the meet.
- Won the silver medal in the 1650-yard free at the MAAC Championships.
- Part of the 800-yard free relay team that took 2nd at the H20unds Invitational. Also took 3rd in the 1650-yard free in the meet.
- Won the 1000-yard free, and came in 2nd in the 500-yard free against Bryant on Senior Night.
- Won both the 500-yard free and 1000-yard free against Fairfield.
- Also won the 1000-yard free against Canisius.
- Part of the 200-yard medley relay team that took first place against SCSU. Also won the 500-yard free in the meet.
- Won the 100-yard free against Binghamton.
- Won the 500 Free and 1000 Free three times in a row to start the season, against Canisius, Fordham, and Rider
- Competed in four events at the ECAC Championships, finishing as high as seventh in the 500 Free
- Swam in four events at the MAAC Championships, placing second in the 500 Free and third in the 1650 Free
- Took second in both the 500 Free and the 1650 Free at the H2ounds Invitational.

- Competed in the 200-, 500- and 1650-yard freestle at MAAC Championships, winning the 500 with a personal best time (4:28.41) and taking fourth in the 1650-yard freestyle (15:52.23) and seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.25)
- Competed in the same events at ECAC Championships, placing eigth in the 1650-yard freestyle
- Took second in both the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle against Bryant

Prior to Marist:
O’Donovan has won individual and relay freestyle events at almost all distances during his high school career. He is the Cheverus record holder in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle and was the Class A state champion at both distances. A team captain the last two years, he was also a member of the Class A meet record-setting 200-yard freestyle relay team and the 400-yard freestyle relay squad that took first place. O’Donovan earned Southern Maine Swim League First Team honors in four events and was the runner up in overall individual points at the 2016 MSI Junior Olympics. He is a three-time champion in the 1,000-yard freestyle and two-time champion at 1,650 yards at the annual meet. He earned a spot on the SMAA All-Academic Team.
