Michael Koch

Michael Koch was hired as assistant athletic trainer at Marist in the summer of 2023. His coverage responsibilities include men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, and men’s lacrosse. 

In the 2022-23 school year, Koch worked at Rutgers University, where assisted with coverage of the men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse programs. He worked with the Scarlet Knights' men's soccer team when they captured the Big Ten championship in 2022.

He worked at Chantilly High School in the 2021-22 school year and worked with a wide variety of sports, which included football, wrestling, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.

Koch worked as a rehabilitation tech at Brielle Integrated Healthcare in Brielle, New Jersey from 2020-21. In the 2019-20 school year, he was an athletic training student intern at Rutgers University. He assisted in the Big Ten women’s soccer tournament semifinals and final, as well as the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Koch earned his Associate of Science degree in Health & Physical Education from Ocean County College, his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University, and his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Shenandoah University.
