2012-13: All-MAAC First Team (First Doubles) ... Went 6-5 in singles and 17-12 overall in doubles as a senior… Played doubles mostly with Dalen Klassen, securing a 15-12 record as a pair… Won eight consecutive doubles matches with Klassen to finish the regular season… Won their opening match in the MAAC Tournament on 4/27 vs. Loyola… Opened the season with five consecutive singles victories… Made it to the singles semifinal of the USTA Invitational on 4/23.
2011-12: All-MAAC Second Team (Third Doubles) ... In his first season with the Red Foxes, Bishop went 14-4 at singles and 13-13 at doubles ... Was 8-1 in dual singles matches, playing all at the fifth and sixth singles spots, including a perfect 3-0 in MAAC play ... Teamed mostly with Dalen Klassen in doubles and the duo went 9-6 together, including 7-1 at third doubles ... Won his last six regular season singles matches, all at the sixth position and seven of his last nine doubles matches.
Prior to Marist: Bishop was team captain as a senior at Memorial High School, leading the team to the Texas 5A championship. The same year, he was a district and regional finalist...Transfered from Tyler Junior College... Helped the Apaches win the 2010 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship...Ranked by the NJCAA as 32nd in doubles and 64th in singles.
