Biography
- After studying abroad in the fall semester, returned in the spring to tally a 2-2 singles record from the second flight
- Defeated La Salle's Connor Merrill 6-0, 6-4 for his first win of the year on February 22
- Handled UConn's Yili Zheng 3-6, 6-4, 15-13 in Marist's home opener on March 8
- Also went 2-4 in No. 1 doubles play, garnering wins with John Oxner over Colgate and Lafayette on February 8 and March 1, respectively
Accolades: All-MAAC Second Team.

- He had an 11-6 record in doubles and a 4-1 record in tournament play

General: Gladden will join Marist as the TennisRecruiting.net’s number one ranked player in the state of Pennsylvania. Gladden has extensive USTA Tennis experience with a consistent UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) of 12.5+. Gladden has also been ranked amongst the top 85 national juniors, ages 14-16-18.
Coach Smith on Gladden – “Chris is what I would call a tough–out. He plays every point hard, which has allowed him to beat a number of top ranked juniors in USTA tournaments. He should make an impact in our top six singles as a freshman and also contribute in doubles because of his court IQ and cunningness.Â
