2013-14: All-MAAC First Team (Second Singles), All-MAAC First Team (Second Doubles), MAAC Player of the Week 4/16 – Klassen finished the season 15-11 overall in singles play and 4-1 in the MAAC, primarily in the second position. He posted an 11-11 mark in doubles action. Klassen and primary doubles partner Trym Nagelstad recorded an 11-9 record together.
2012-13: MAAC Player of the Year, All-MAAC First Team (Co-Second Singles, First Doubles), MAAC Player of the Week - 2/26 ... Went 23-10 in singles and 15-13 in doubles play as a junior… Won eight consecutive singles matches including a tournament finals victory in the USTA Invitational on 9/23… Played doubles mostly with Billy Bishop, securing a 15-12 record as a pair… Won eight consecutive doubles matches with Bishop to finish the regular season… Won their opening match in the MAAC Tournament on 4/27 vs. Loyola.
2011-12: All-MAAC First Team (Sixth Singles), All-MAAC Second Team (Third Doubles), MAAC Player of the Week 4/17 ... Went 21-10 at singles, the second most wins by a Red Fox, and 16-11 at doubles ... Was 15-5 in dual matches in singles ... Mostly competed at fifth singles, going 10-5 at that spot ... Teamed up mostly with Billy Bishop in doubles, going 9-6 as a duo, including 7-1 at the third posiion ... Won his final six singles matches of the regular season and seven of nine in doubles ... Defeated his opponents from Saint Peter's in the MAAC Semifinals (6-4, 6-0) and from Fairfield in the MAAC Championship (6-2, 6-2).
2010-11: Went 14-3 in singles and 11-3 in doubles. ... In singles, went 11-3 in tournament play and 3-0 in dual matches. ... Prior To Marist: In addition to being ranked in the city of St. Louis, the state of Missouri, the Plain Region and the Missouri Valley, Klassen was nationally ranked as well. ... He is second in St. Louis, third in the state of Missouri and 17th in the Missouri Valley. Klassen was also the eighth recruit in his region according to Tennisrecruiting.net.
