Biography
2015-16: All-MAAC First Team (Third Doubles) – Motta finished his senior season 18-16 overall going 4-6 in singles play and 14-10 in doubles play. Going 13-8 overall, 11-4 in dual matches, 2-4 tournament play and 4-1 conference with partner Fredrik Bjerke earned the pair a spot on the All-MAAC First Team in the third doubles position.
2014-15: Finished the season 3-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play in singles matches. In doubles Motta posted a 10-12 mark while going 8-9 in dual matches and 4-2 in conference play.
2013-14: Motta posted a 2-3 overall singles record this season and finished 4-3 in doubles play. He won in both singles and doubles action against Rider University at sixth singles and third doubles.
2012-13: Went 6-3 in singles and 1-2 in doubles as a freshman… Earned three match winning streaks on two separate occasions.
Prior to Marist: In addition to tennis, Motta also boxed and wrestled at Monsignor Farrell High School ... Competed in several ITF and USTA tournaments, winning several at the L1 division.
