Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team
- Picked up two wins in fourth singles, and made three appearances out of second doubles
- Won his season debut over Niagara’s Pere Padro, 7-5, 7-5 in the fourth flight on April 16th
- Followed that up with a 6-1, 6-3 triumph against Quinnipiac’s Aleksa Martinovic in the fourth position on April 18th
- Competed in the fourth singles flight in Marist’s MAAC Semifinal match on April 24th
- Went 8-9 in singles play in his first season in Poughkeepsie, with two wins in the second flight
- Notched his first two wins as a Red Fox in the UConn Invitational from September 14-15
- Swept his lone MAAC match, winning 6-4 in No. 1 doubles with John Oxner and No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-1 against Rider on October 13
- Had a team-high 13 wins in doubles, racking up eight tournament wins and five dual match victories in the top two flights combined
- Triumphed in his first four Marist doubles matches with John Oxner, then teamed with Lars Schouten to go 4-1 from the second flight in the spring
- Also competed with Schouten in doubles play at the 2019 ITA Northeast Regionals
• Nestor Giribet Lopez will have junior eligibility after spending two seasons at Nicholls State.
• In his sophomore year, he went 5-8 in the third and fourth flights.
• He led the Colonels in 2017-18 with an 8-8 record in singles.
• That season, he picked up two wins at the third position and six victories in the sixth position.
• Giribet Lopez was also 5-7 in doubles that season.
• Off the court, he earned a 4.0 GPA.
