Kristin Boland

Boland enters her third season with the Marist women's lacrosse program, working primarily with the Red Foxes' defenders and goalkeepers. Last season, Boland helped junior defender Annie Sheehy garnish All-MAAC Second Team Honors. During her first season, she helped guide goalkeeper Delaney Galvin to an impressive rookie campaign in which Galvin was named MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year.

Prior to her arrival at Marist, Boland coached for JAB Lacrosse in Virginia for two years. She also spent a season out of college working for the Rochester Nighthawks of the National Lacrosse League.

Originally recruited as a goalkeeper, Boland made the switch to defense halfway through her collegiate career at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She came back from an ACL tear her senior year to become a starter on the Flames' defense. Boland is a double Liberty alumna, having graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management and her master's degree in executive leadership in 2016. She is originally from Rochester, New York.
