Prior to Marist: Schroeder was a four-year varsity athlete at the four-time Florida State Champion Vero Beach High School. She earned an Honorable Mention nod on the U.S. Lacrosse All-American Regional Team following a senior season in which she scored 73 goals. She earned the team's Rookie of the Year award as a freshman. Schroeder finished her career with 194 goals, 235 assists and 204 draw controls and was named an Academic All-American in 2011. Vero Beach High School was ranked amongst the top 20 in the nation during all four of her seasons, including a top five rank in 2010.
