During her tenure, the Shoremen won the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Championships with the men's four-man novice team as well as in 2009 with the men's novice squad. She graduated from Washington College with a Master's degree in history and is certified in Secondary Education.

Genevich has served as a counselor and coach at multiple rowing camps to becoming officially certified through U.S. Rowing and has attended a camp for the U.S. National Team.
