Julia Rigothi

Rigothi is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Marist women's rowing program.

As a student-athlete for the Red Foxes, Rigothi was a four-year member of the Varsity Eight and a two-time team captain for the Red Foxes before graduating Magna Cum Laude in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Mathematics. She earned her MBA from Marist in the spring of 2019.

Along with being a five-time member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Boat of the Week, Rigothi competed at the 2016 U23 World Championship United States National Team Trials in Women's Double. She was also a gold medalist at the 2016 Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in U23 Women's Quad. This past season Rigothi finished in 1st place in the women's 1x at the 2017 Knecht Cup Regatta.
 
Rigothi was named the Marist College 2017 Sportsperson of the Year and won the Women's Crew Captain's Award from 2015-17.
